Utilization of Foreign Investment

Open economy is developed in Yinzhou District. Up to now, there are many famous foreign invested enterprises in the district, including Marubeni, Itochu, Daiei and Komatsu from Japan; BorgWarner from U.S.; Metro from Germany; Interbrew from Belgium and Akzo. Nobel from Holland. By the end of 2005, there are 1205 foreign-invested enterprises in Yinzhou district with accumulated contract foreign capital utilization USD 2.46 billion and accumulated actual foreign capital utilization USD 1.23

billion.Yinzhou has ranked No.1 in FDI in the province for consecutive three years from 2003 to 2005.
Yinzhou adheres to the foreign-oriented development strategy, strengthens the investment promotion and actively expands the development space. Yinzhou Binhai Investment & Business Incubation, Yinzhou Investment & Business Incubation, Yinzhou Industrial Zone and Wangchun Industrial Zone respectively, which are situated in the east, south and west of Yinzhou District, make the four major strategic blocks for Yinzhou's industrial economy development, providing expansive back land and strong support to a new round of sustainable development in the district.
